Summary:
Responsible for the supervision of staff and students to ensure a safe and secure operation of activities in the recreation/avocation area and supervises code of conduct in the development, implementation and maintenance of the behavior management system.
- Establishes and operates a Center-wide diversified recreation program.
- Monitors activities for individuals and groups to include tournament competition and varsity and intramural competition for the athletic-minded students.
- Provides oversight of plans for recreations activities for students not participating in athletic events.
- Supervises the development of the instructional programs to teach students new skills and to improve existing skills.
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of 1 year working with youth or related experience including supervisory experience. Associates degree preferred. Valid Driver’s License, Commercial Driver’s License (must obtain a Class B CDL Driver’s License within 60 days of employment)
